Council Goes Down Superior Street, Again

9/6/2002

The Duluth City Council will travel a familiar Road.

They will go down Superior Street to reconsider a resolution allowing the Duluth Economic Authority to purchase the Arrowhead Health Building on East Superior Street. At last Thursday's Agenda Session the Council heard from DEDA Executive Director Mike Conlan's proposal to encorporate the building in a planned expansion of the skywalk linking the Technology Center with a proposed fifty plus million dollar expansion by St. Mary's Medical Center. Councilors earlier turned down efforts by DEDA to purhcase the Arrowhead Health Building for five hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
